Sunday School
Children from preschool to fifth grade meet from 9:30 to 10:20 a.m. on the second floor of the education wing. A creative approach to Christian education is employed, which combines traditional curriculum-based classes with interactive rotation workshops covering topics such as Children’s Spirituality, El Higueral (our sister community), Caring for God’s Earth, and more. Follow this link to our Enrollment Form.

Children's Worship & Wonder
Children Worship & Wonder is a worship experience offered during our 10:45 service for children ages 3 through 2nd grade. Trained storytellers present Bible stories in a way that allows children to enter into the stories and form responses out of their own life experiences. Through Children Worship & Wonder, children learn about God as they experience God. Following the children's moment at the 10:45 service, children leave for Worship & Wonder and return for communion and the close of worship.

Thoughtful Parents (9:30 am in Room 102)
“Thoughtful” is a word that has often been used to describe Saint Andrew – you put significant thought into everything from terminology, to building materials, to music choices, to community involvement. Thoughtful Parents will meet to listen, think, and share ideas on a wide range of topics related to faith and home. Coordinated by Denise Dugan, Associate Pastor of Faith Formation, this class will include guest speakers, panel discussions, book reviews, and more. This class is for parents, grandparents, and anyone else who’s interested!

Shalom Sundays
On the last Sunday of each month, we suspend Worship & Wonder so that all ages can attend worship together. This is one way of acknowledging and honoring the gifts each member of this community has to offer one another. Worship is one of the most basic ways we learn what it means to be Christian and we believe that the presence of children in worship enhances the spiritual growth of our entire community. For ideas on how to help children get the most out of their worship experience click here for our Making Room for Children brochure.
