Beginning with our Palm Processionals on Palm Sunday, March 28, Holy Week is a time to remember Christ's final week as we participate in special services and activities that will build community among our church family and invited friends. Holy Saturday will be a wonderful time to witness the joy of our children at our annual Easter Egg Hunt and then join in an intergenerational day -- working together, eating together, waiting together for the joy and mystery of Easter morning.
Maundy Thursday
Thursday, April 1
7:00 pm
Maundy - not a word we hear every day. "Maundy," from mandatum, is the mandate Jesus gave his disciples at the Last Supper to love and serve one another as he loved and served them. We celebrate this Maundy in Communion and in washing one another's feet at this service, the first of the great Easter celebrations. After all, the Maundy is addressed to us too. Come celebrate with us.

Good Friday
Friday, April 2
7:00 pm
Before we get to Easter, we have to go through Good Friday. A solemn, sacred occasion, Good Friday marks the crucifixion of Jesus - a day which marks the presence of senseless violence in our world.
A day of deep mourning and troubling ambiguity, Good Friday services are an ancient Christian practice which highlight the sense of mortality we experience during lent. Plan to participate in this powerful service.
Rev. Allison Lanza, preaching
Rev. Holly McKissick, leading worship
Music offered by the Saint Andrew Choir; a woodwind trio featuring Dave Winans, Barbara Pinkston, and Janice Rawlings; Joy Zimmerman; and Cindy Egger-Farris.

- Health Kit assembly (bring toiletry items and make health kits for local organizations. Items needed for the kits include soap, shampoo, conditioner, razor, washcloth, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, chapstick, wet wipes, shaving cream, quart ziplock bags, gallon ziplock bags)
- Banner Changes/Decorating for Easter
